Getting Fit: A challenge for beginner runners or those of you who want to start running.

Week 1: Run one minute. Walk 90 seconds. Repeat eight times. Do three times a week.

Week 2: Run two minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat seven times. Do three times a week.

Week 3: Run three minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat six times. Do three times a week.

Week 4: Run five minutes. Walk two minutes. Repeat four times. Do three times a week.

Week 5: Run eight minutes. Walk two minutes. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.

Week 6: Run twelve minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.

Week 7: Run fifteen minutes. Walk one minute. Run fifteen minutes. Do three times a week.

Week 8: Run thirty minutes continuously.

Okay seriously noting this for myself. I am doing this when I get back to the gym in a week and a half or so. Yes please!

Got a big event coming up?  Here is a sample meal plan and workout for a bikini model leading up to the competition.  I love doing diets like this for one week, if I’ve been on vacation and gained some unexpected pounds or if I have a photoshoot coming up.  Any longer than a week I go crazy, which is why I will never do competitions.
This girl’s diet is a little carnivorous for me but you get the picture. Eat clean. No big crazy recipes found here.  Just simple, the way I like to eat.

What’s Your Reward?

Other than being thin, happy, healthy. What’s your reward for making it to your goal weight? If you have one.

Mine will be a tattoo I’ve been wanting for quite some time. But, I want to be sure that when I get it, I look good showing it off, so that’s why it’s my reward to myself for reaching my goal. Plus, I have such a large amount of weight to lose that it will make it that much better.
